The 6 Best Super Bowl Commercials from 2025

OpenAI Ad Highlights AI as Evolutionary Step

OpenAI’s $14 million Super Bowl ad isn’t about explaining what the company does—it’s about shaping perception. At the early stage of the customer funnel, awareness is key, and this ad serves as a positioning statement rather than a showcase of AI’s specific applications.

By presenting a visual timeline of human progress—hunting, agriculture, the steam engine, the moon landing, and the internet—OpenAI positions itself as the next step in that evolutionary journey. The message is clear: AI isn’t just another technology; it’s a pivotal moment in history, on par with the greatest advancements of the past.

Stella Artois Ad Features Beckham and Damon

In the 2025 Super Bowl, the Stella Artois commercial featuring David Beckham and Matt Damon stood out. In this ad, Beckham discovers his American twin, Dave (portrayed by Damon), and they humorously discuss the differences between football and soccer at a barbecue. The clever dialogue and star power effectively captured viewers’ attention, making it a memorable spot.

The ad’s success lies in its blend of celebrity appeal and cultural commentary. By pairing two renowned figures and playfully addressing the football vs. soccer debate, Stella Artois created content that resonated with a broad audience. This strategic approach not only entertained but also reinforced the brand’s global image.

Jesus Ad Emphasizes Compassion and Humility

Among all the Super Bowl ads I’ve seen, the “What Is Greatness” Jesus commercial from 2025 made the most lasting impression on me. This advertisement demonstrated powerful subtlety within the overwhelming presence of expensive advertisements. The ad created its powerful impression not through celebrity backing or exaggerated comedy but by sharing a narrative about compassion with selflessness and empathy. This message resonated fundamentally because it demonstrated that real greatness stems from humility and love in a society obsessed with power and success.

The moments of people demonstrating grace toward each other despite their differences appeared as an invitation to something that transcends individual existence. The commercial transcended its essential function to become a reflective experience. Showing compassion and helping others rise above their circumstances is vital professionally and personally. Most advertisements sell products, but this one went beyond to inspire viewers.

Homes.com Ad Resonates with Homebuyers

I find Homes.com to be captivating and beneficial, especially for our sector. There’s high appreciation for the creativity, but you can’t also deny the emotional resonance to homebuyers, sellers, agents, and everyone involved in securing the right fit for homeowners from varied demographics.

This ad carries a storyline that encompasses the narrative of every potential homebuyer, hence the deep personal connection it exudes. Its striking visual is like a vision board, that’s both heartfelt and humorous, not to mention, leaving you starstruck.

It, of course, showcases Homes.com as a user-friendly platform, which can be a truly empowering first step for those who don’t know where to begin with their home search. The kind of hope and endless possibilities that Homes.com shows in this ad effectively positions itself as a genuine partner to every modern homebuyer.

YouTube TV Ad Showcases Convenience and Versatility

The YouTube TV ad is a clever and innovative juxtaposition with traditional TV. Its storytelling style stands out because of its concrete visualization of convenience and versatility, presented with creativity, a bit of humor, and high relatability. The ad highlights the consumer’s ease of use and access to live sports, movies, and other shows. It features a memorable soundtrack that you can sing along with later as you recall the ad’s compelling message.

Live sports and video content are here to stay. And overall, the ad has been powerful and effective in communicating that today’s consumers can stay connected with their favorite content anytime, anywhere, perfectly punctuating it with a punchline: “So, missing a play is a thing of the past.”

Uber Eats Ad Stars McConaughey and Celebrities

In my opinion, Uber Eats is the best Super Bowl 2025 commercial. The idea of making words out of FOOTball and FOODball sets a humorous tone from the beginning, but Matthew McConaughey in the lead role is exactly what made this spot worth watching.

Uber Eats was able to satisfy all categories of the audience—Martha Stewart and Sean Evans helped to play on the feeling of nostalgia, as well as the black and white shots. But also the appearance of Charli XCX was able to attract the attention of the younger audience. After the popularity of the album BRAT, it was a good decision to let her participate in this commercial.

References to other movies and music, relevant and really funny jokes, as well as a plot twist where Greta Gerwig appears at the end and explains why Matthew’s conspiracy theory will fail—all this combined made me want to watch the commercial again.

It’s like a mini-movie, and it whets your appetite. Uber Eats has achieved its goal, so I advise you not to watch this commercial if you are hungry: https://youtu.be/YYb6erM8z8w?si=xZDsSTwE-GbW-LW4.
